The Paine Art Center and Gardens Wedding Venue

Live out your fairytale fantasies in a castle wedding venue

Walk down the aisle next to a magical castle that’s absolutely unforgettable.

If you’ve ever dreamed of getting married with a snowy-dusted castle as your backdrop—or in an elaborate spring garden wedding venue featuring stunning statues—The Paine Art Center and Gardens offers it all. Drawing upon their English ancestry, husband and wife Nathan Paine and Jessie Kimberly founded The Paine in the 1920’s as an intricate English-country style estate. Their goal was to design an estate showcasing exceptional architecture, furnishings, art and natural beauty for educational and cultural purposes. Now a stunning garden wedding venue in Oshkosh, WI complete with a Tudor castle, garden conservatory and intimate carriage house, The Paine accommodates anywhere from 20-200 guests for indoor and outdoor settings.

Year-Round Gardens

One of the Midwest’s most well-hidden wedding venue secrets, The Paine Art Center and Gardens offers four acres of enchanting botanical gardens with all-season displays, perfect for weddings year-round. Perhaps you’re envisioning a winter wonderland in a garden wedding venue, or maybe your ideal wedding is complete with blooming tulips, climbing vines and gorgeous wildflowers.

No matter what you imagine your picture-perfect day to be, you’ll create memories stamped in time with beautiful photo backdrops exactly to your preference.

Historic Castle

A once in a lifetime celebration deserves a legendary setting. Feel like royalty as you get married on The Paine grounds, with impressive architecture as your backdrop. After the ceremony, guests can tour the historic Paine castle, renowned for its uniquely carved oak and walnut interior woodwork, distinctively designed doors and majestic grand staircase.

Fully furnished with couches, tables, chairs and more, the furnishings mimic various historical periods. Some pieces are even upholstered in antique textiles, and Paine family heirlooms are scattered throughout the historic castle wedding venue.
